🎃 Fall Festival – Friday, October 23rd | 3:45–5:30 PM
Get ready for one of our favorite traditions of the year — the SHA Fall Festival! Join us right after school for an afternoon of games, crafts, snacks, a raffle with prizes from local businesses, spirit wear sales, a juggler, and a dance party to send us dancing into the weekend!
This is a great way to celebrate fall and connect with our school community — we can’t wait to see you there!
Important Reminder: This is an after-school event. All students must be picked up from school and supervised by a parent or guardian during the festival.
👉 Volunteer – We need YOUR help! This event comes to life because of our amazing parent volunteers! Sign up to volunteer HERE!

November 16: Kick off to the Equitable Giving Project 🎁
This holiday season, the SHA is once again making it simple—and equitable—to show appreciation for our incredible Breakthrough guides and staff through the Equitable Gift Project.
Rooted in our community’s commitment to equity and inclusion, this project ensures that every single staff and faculty member is recognized with a cash gift of equal value.
Here’s how it works:
- Donations will be collected Nov. 16 – Dec. 11.
- All funds are pooled and divided equally among every Breakthrough staff and faculty member.
- Contributions of any size are valued and appreciated.
Think of it as taking something off your holiday to-do list—we’ll handle the gifts so every member of our incredible team feels celebrated and appreciated. Link to contribute will be shared on November 16th.
November 20: Next SHA General Meeting
Our next General SHA Meeting will be held on Friday, November 20th from 9:15–10:00 AM.
We’re meeting virtually on Zoom to help more families participate — grab your coffee and join us from wherever you are! We will send out the Zoom link closer to the meeting date.
It’s a great opportunity to hear school updates, share ideas, and get involved in what’s happening at Breakthrough.
