The SHA organizes this annual event in collaboration with guides and staff as a way to encourage students to build their home libraries, strengthen literacy skills, and further their love of reading. This year we are excited to announce a new partnership with local bookstore Peoples Books!

Breakthrough guides provided us with a wish list of books they would like to add to their classroom libraries. Purchase copies via Breakthrough’s bookshop.org link and the SHA will receive 10% of all online sales through 4/24/26! - Tuesday, April 21 – Friday, April 24: Classroom Shopping
Using SHA funds from our successful Spring Into Action fundraiser, your child will take home one book of their choosing! Each student will have the opportunity to shop with their classmates at the book fair. - Friday, April 24 (3:45 PM to 6:00 PM): Family Literary Festival
Book Fair will open up for after-school shopping and our first ever Family Literacy Festival on Friday, April 24th. Shop for books for your student AND their classroom, play literacy games, and celebrate reading!
